How to date a Nigerian man

A typical Nigerian man is very hardworking,he loves to hustle, loves to be respected, loves to be in charge and actually believes he owns his woman. For a typical Nigerian man it's a man world, he likes to pay the bills in his house as he is taught from an early age that a man has to work hard and make enough money before he can have full control and be in charge of his family.

For a Nigerian man cheating on his woman is not usually a big deal especially if he is well off financially as there are usually no consequences for cheating, the women always stay any way, because our culture frowns at a woman that leaves her man because of another woman,it is expected that if you love your man you will stick by him no matter what and instead of leaving think of creative ways of snagging him from any threats. The good part however is if a woman succeeds in taking the man to the altar the game changes and the woman now owns the home while making the man think he is still the head.As a result most Nigerian women have come up with really creative ways of getting their men and i will like to share some with you.

1.Be religious.
Nigerians are very religious and some smart women have mastered the art of using religion to manipulate their men to the point that the man will begin to think that his success or failure in life depends on her faith in God. Attend and participate in  all religious functions, when he tells you of any challenge use favorable verses in the holy book to advice him, fast specifically for him and let him know.Convince him to follow you to your place of worship or follow him to his place of worship whichever way it goes act like you are more into it than him and always take note of what is preached so you can use it when he begins to misbehave. Before you know it he will be boasting to his friends that his woman is very religious,it doesn't matter if your are not that religious, doesn't matter if your having sex just act it,learn it till it sticks.Always tell him i am not perfect but no matter what i do it is God first always and i tell you he will be totally smitten...lol

2.Tell him what he wants to hear
Be economical with the truth,or else you may lose him to some one that tells him what he wants to hear.Don't tell him you have heard sex with more than 10 men or you just had sex a day before you met him just because you want to be honest,he will find it difficult to believe you will ever be faithful to him, despite the fact that men are easily forgiven for cheating,a Nigerian man will rarely forgives his woman if she cheats. If you are the honest type wait till your are married to him before you begin to open up completely to him then he would have committed himself to you and must have falling in love with your positive trait,so the negative trait now becomes a work in progress after all nobody is perfect.

3.Respect him
Respect and praise him especially in front of his friends and family, always have his back, tell him he is the most handsome man on earth even if he is not, when friends tell you things about him tell them my man cannot do that even if you know  it is true, when you get home tell him can you imagine they said so so and so about you well i told them  off i trust you and i know you cannot do or say that. Then wait till you have evidence before you accuse him privately of betrayal.Handle his ego with care don't compare him to other men, don't emasculate him, even if it is your idea let him take the glory.Celebrate his achievements, be his cheerleader.

4.Add value to his life
Gone are the days when a Nigerian man is the alpha and omega of his house, when his woman is only seen and not heard, trends have changed and though he still wants to be the head and be in charge,he still values a woman that adds value to his life.Be interested in what he does and be on the look out for ways of improving his finance, his career, the way he dresses and carry himself, always make sure he gets the best deal.Look for ways of helping him save his income, don't be wasteful of his resources when you have helped him save enough and you have gained his trust you can now ask him for that expensive jewelry...winks**.Be smart and wise he would want to be sure you can handle the home front when he is away.

5.Cook for him and pamper him
A Nigerian man values a woman that personally makes his meals, clean his house and if possible wash his clothes, this makes them remember their mothers.Pamper him massage him,do his manicure and pedicure, learn his favorite dishes and kill him with variety. Most Nigerian men have a very healthy appetite.

6.Love his family especially his mother
In Nigeria a woman does not just marry a man but also his family.Try to be nice and friendly to his family buy them little gifts if possible, encourage your man to do things for them, try not to get involved or take sides when they have disagreement,if you are too stubborn your dream of becoming the woman of the house may never be realized.

NB:Strictly my opinion.
