Former Niger Delta Minister tried to disrupt the INEC chiarman Prof Jega from collating the results of the presendential election on live TV

Former Niger Delta Minister Elder Peter Godsday Orubebe tried to disrupt the ongoing INEC presidential election results. He claimed that the INEC chairman Prof Jega is biased, tribalistic & not competent to continue the ongoing collation in Abuja.

He said APC had written a letter to INEC concerning alleged rigging in Rivers state and INEC immediately sent a committee to investigate the issue, but when the PDP wrote a protest letter concerning alleged election  malpractices in Katsina, Kaduna,Kano,Jigawa,Gombe,Bauchi & Kogi state,Jega did not send anyone to attend to their protest.
in a tantrum which lasted for more than 15 minutes,he sat on the stage & refused to allow the result announcement to continue.

The INEC chairman, who responded with maturity and intelligence told the aggrieved parties that petitions have been coming and he cant attend to them now till after the collation. He also warned Orubebe to mind what he says being an elder statesman in the country. The collation of results has since continued.
